By sharing a meal, the team members are encouraged to talk thus, knowing each other better. Another strategy is promoting team members hobby clubs where they can share in different activities.


How the team member interacts and works together with the rest of the group will show whether their negative view has changed or not.

Creating rapport with team members ensures solid working relationship. According to studies, rapport is significant to pulling team members together (Fielding, 2006).  Rapport creates a connection that ensures cooperation of the team members to achieve the goals of the project. In order to achieve this, the project manager should use the four Cs which include; commonalities, connectivity, communication and collaboration.  

An effective team communication process enhances motivation of the team members, improve the processes of decision making, cultivate respect and trust between the team members as well as contribute towards their positive performance (Fielding, 2006).  The project manager should use such strategies as regular communication, transparent communication and goal focused communication to ensure effective communication.
